   Proposal Description:
   The purpose of this study was to estimate the prevalence of those with Alzheimer?s dementia who improve at follow up in a larger cohort and to identify predictors at intake which may be associated with improvement at follow up. Dependent variables of interest were unchanged or improved MMSE score and unchanged or improved CDRSUM score. CDRSUM score was created by adding the scores for memory, orientation, judgment/problem solving, community affairs, home and hobbies and personal care.  MMSE was used as a measure of cognition while the CDRSUM score reflects functional change.
